Sue Olsen has developed a fabric art technique known as "Design to Free-Motion Line". With this technique, you use your sewing machine to draw lines on a patterned design. The sewing machine needle is like an artist's pencil, and the fabric foundation is like an artist's sketch pad. Although you are using a pattern for the basic fabric art design, the "Design to Free-Motion Line" technique allows you to personalize the wall-hanging to suit your individual taste. The sewn lines should be irregular, imperfect and fun! You can sew any design you want on the pattern pieces, on the background pieces, and even on the borders. The lines you choose to sew will make the wall-hanging uniquely your own! Relax and enjoy!
