Step # 2:
Cut two pieces of muslin 4 inches larger than the square-up lines found on the pattern. Tape one piece of muslin over the paper pattern...centering
it over the image coming through.(figure #2)

Step # 3:
With a dull #2. pencil trace the image coming through the muslin. Draw all lines lightly. Use a ruler to draw the square-up lines. (figure 3)

This is how the muslin
drawing will took when all the lines are drawn.
There are now shapes to put colored fabric into,
and the square-up lines are visible.(figure 4)

Step # 4:
Stabilize the muslin drawing with the second piece of muslin. Spray them
together with quilters basting spray.(figure 4A)
